Follow-Up Facility-oriented survey of continuing participants (1st-8th wave)

The purpose of this follow-up facility-oriented survey, "Brain and Mental Health Survey Ⅱ (9th wave) ", was to investigate the current brain, mental health and lifestyle status of continuing participants (1st-8th wave) of the National Institute for Longevity Sciences - Longitudinal Study of Aging (NILS-LSA).
From Oct, 2018 to Feb, 2022, 1,689 individuals participated in the survey.* The table shows the age and gender distribution of the participants in "Brain and Mental Health Survey Ⅱ (9th wave) ".
In compliance with the "Ethical Guidelines for Medical and Health Research Involving Human Subjects" and "Ethical Guidelines for Medical and Biological Research Involving Human Subjects", this study was conducted with the approval of The Ethics and Conflict of Interest Committee of the National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology.
*Since February 2020, the COVID-19 spread forced us to suspend the survey and reduce the number of participants, considering infection prevention. With kind understanding and cooperation from the participants, we prolonged the survey period and finished it in February 2022.
