About the laboratory

Laboratory of Assistive Robotics in Long Term Care

In a society with a declining birthrate and an elderly person, there is concern about a shortage of medical and long-term care providers. The purpose of this laboratory is to help the social implementation of nursing care robots by conducting basic research in the fields of rehabilitation and nursing care and demonstration experiments of robot equipment.
