Greetings
We are developing a novel method for prevention,
diagnostication
and therapy for Alzheimers' disease, focusing on metabolic disorder of
protein or amino acid (tryptophan) in the AD brain.
Studying nutrition research on the
anti-aggregating function
of natural product like trehalose to inhibit the toxic protein
accumulation in the brain.
Metabolic Disorder in Demetia
Some kinds of protein accumulation seems to be occurred as
a
result of metabolic disorder in the brain of AD patient, suggesting
that reduction of the protein accumulation would ameliorate the
dementia. For the precaution or the early treatment of dementia, we are
studying on the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion
(ADME) of amyloid beta, tau and amino acid derivatives, to regulate the
intracerebral metabolic levels of the pathogens.
