Of all patients treated in our specialty, 38% receive rehabilitation mainly for cerebrovascular disorders, and for neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease, spinocerebellar degeneration, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and 34% receive rehabilitation chiefly after a fracture of the femoral head, and after an operation on the spine or a joint. The rest of the patients receive rehabilitation for disuse atrophy in their prolonged immobility after suffering pneumonia or undergoing an operation.
In cooperation with the Respiratory specialty, we also emphasize comprehensive respiratory rehabilitation, which is carried out by an integrated team of physicians, dentists, dietitians, pharmacists and nurses, and based on an appropriate amount of exercise determined by exercise tolerance tests.
We also provide rehabilitation for cognitive impairment at the initiative of occupational therapists.
Outpatient services are available every business day.
The staff consists of 7 physiotherapists, 3 occupational therapists, 1 speech therapist, and 1 rehabilitation assistant. We are authorized as general rehabilitation facilities.
