On weekdays, the staff is a resident in the operating room and performs most of systemic anesthesia procedures there. If possible, we also address emergency operations on the weekend and holidays, and at night.
Anesthesia is given not only to relieve pain but also to protect the patient from invasive procedures during operation. The patient is accompanied by an anesthesiologist throughout the operation.
While giving anesthesia in the operating room, we also provide pain relief such as epidural anesthesia for the patient to have less pain after the operation.
Although the dangerous image of anesthesia seems to persist, serious anesthetic accidents have rarely occurred in a hospital with anesthesiologists. Safety of anesthesia is enhanced by correctly understanding the patient's preoperative condition.
Operations in the elderly over 80 are becoming common. We hope elderly patients to receive anesthesia without anxiety.
