[Study Objective and Overview]

The purpose of this follow-up facility-oriented survey, "Brain and Mental Health Survey", was to investigate the current brain, mental health and lifestyle status of continuing participants (1st-7th wave) of the National Institute for Longevity Sciences - Longitudinal Study of Aging (NILS-LSA) .
From Oct, 2013 to Feb, 2016, 2,101 individuals participated in the survey. The table shows the age and gender distribution of the "Brain and MentalHealth Survey".
In compliance with the "Ethical Guidelines for Medical and Health Research Involving Human Subjects", this study was conducted with the approval of The Ethics and Conflict of Interest Committee of the National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology.
